Where can I park?

We have on-road parking just outside the Hotel, and can give guests a parking permit which they can use for the duration of their stay. 

If you cannot find a space outside, then there is also a small car park at the rear of the Hotel, which you are welcome to use.  However, there is no access to the Hotel from the car park, so you will have to walk around the block, approx. 2 minutes.  TOP TIP:  Check in to the Hotel BEFORE going to the Car park, this will save you having to carry your luggage from the Car Park.

Do you serve evening meals?

No, we don't. Our Restaurant is open for Breakfast Service fron 7.00am -9.30am Monday - Saturday and from 8.00am-10.00am on Sunday. Continental Breakfast available on request. Bar Snack Menu is available from 12.00pm - 9.00 pm.

We gave you our credit card number when we booked.  Have we already paid?

No: We would not dream of taking anything from a customer's card prior to their arrival. The card number is held by way of a security for the booking. However, we do ask customers to pay upon arrival. 

Guests are welcome to charge meals, snacks and drinks to the room, and pay for those upon departure.

Do you charge 'Hotel prices' in your Bar?

No – we charge the same price as the local pubs in the area, although Guests from the north of England may find Bar prices more expensive generally. Our Bar is open from 5.00pm until 11.45pm, 7 nights per week.

Does the lift go to all floors?

No, our passenger lift serves the ground floor all the way up to the third floor.  It does not go down to the dining room.  There is a small flight of stairs down to the dining room.  If you cannot make the stairs to the dining room, we are happy to serve you in our small sitting room on the hall floor by prior arrangement.

Do you have a taxi number?

When you require a taxi, just come to Reception. We have a direct line to a taxi Company and will book for you. They generally they come within 5 minutes of calling.

Can we arrive back at the Hotel late?

Yes of course you can.  We give you a key to your room and also to the front door on arrival.  Our Reception is covered from 7.00am through til midnight by a Duty Manager.

From midnight to 7.00am we employ a nightwatchman who patrols the hotel throughout the night, making sure everything and everybody is safe. Although we do not offer night porterage, he can help you if you have any problems. We would of course, ask anyone returning late to the hotel, to do so quietly, in order not to disturb our other guests.

Booking in time is 3.00pm. Can we arrive early?

If you need to arrive early to get ready for a wedding etc., we will do our utmost to accommodate you by prior arrangement.

Should you arrive early and your room is ready, then of course, you may check in immediately.  Otherwise, we will give you a permit and look after your luggage until your room is ready for you.

Do you have wifi in the hotel?

Wifi at the Seacrest is complimentary for all guests and visitors.  Our access number is 12345, 12345.

We also have TV and Entertainment Centres (Smart TV) in each room, which allow you to access all kinds of online facilities, such as social media, video streaming sites, Netflix,  email etc.

Do you serve food during the day?

Yes, we serve a variety of sandwiches and Paninis with drinks from the bar or tea and coffee.  We regret we do not allow takeaways into the Hotel.  Takeaways leave smells which linger in the fabrics within the room and of course, accidents can happen when eating food from containers without cutlery.

Could we order a morning paper?

No problem.  Just let us know at the desk and the paper will be delivered to your room before 7.30am.
